John 2:13-25 Translation

13. And it was near the passover of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14. And he found in the temple the sellers of (those who sold) oxen, and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting.
15. And he made a whip out of cords and drove all of them out of the temple, the sheep, and oxen and he poured out the money of the moneychangers and turn over the tables.
16 And to the sellers of the doves he said: "Take these things out of here. Do not make my father's house a house of merchandise."
17  His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal of your house will consume me." This is found in Psalms 69 but what verse? In the LXX it is verse 10 in English verse 9, why? Also the word for "consume me" is better translated "eat me up". It is the same root as words like phagocyte.
18 Therefore the Jews answered and said to him, "What sign do you show us, that  you did these things?
19 Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Therefore said the Jews"Forty-six years this temple was built, and you in three days will raise it up?
21  And this he said concerning the temple of his body.
22  When therefore he was raised form the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this and they believed in the scriptures and in the word which Jesus said.
23 And when he was in Jerusalem in the passover in the feast, many believed in his name, while beholding his miracles which he did.
24 And he Jesus did not trust himself to them because he, himself, knew all men. Auton is the general accusative of reference.
25 And that he did not need any to testify concerning man, for he knew what was in man.
