John 5:13-29 - Translation -The Father and the Son

14. After these things Jesus finds him in the temple and said to him, "Behold you are made whole. Sin no more, in order that a worst thing man happen to you. "Finds" dramatic present. "Sin no more" imperative. Connecting his sickness to sin. "lest a worse thing".... Comparative of Kakos, bad. Same statement to adulterous woman 8:11.
15. The man went away and reported to the Jews that Jesus was the one who made him whole. Estiv present, maybe historical?, captured in indirect discourse. Distain for the man (Robertson0
16. And because of this the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he did this thing on the sabbath. The beginning of the Jews watching Jesus as the Sabbath breaker. inChoative (inceptive)  imperfect - began to persecute.
The Holy Trinity
17. And he answered them, "My father is now working and I also am working.
18. After these things the Jews desired to kill him more, because he not only broke the sabbath, but also said God was his Father, making himself equal with God.  Strong indication of the trinity - that the Jewish fathers understood. Robertson gives an break down of iso here.
19  Therefore Jesus answered and said to them," Verly, Verly I say to you, The son is not able to do anything of himself, only what he sees the Father doing. For that which he does, these also the son likewise does.  Again connection and declaration some what subtle about the trinity.
20. For the father loves the son and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
Phileo used here instead of agape. Certainly scientific study of God has shown us things to marvel at.
21. For just as the Father raises up the dead and gives life, so also the son gives life to whomever he wishes. Christ has not raised anyone from the dead yet but will shortly. Noting that it was the Father who raised Christ from the grace here then is another possible connection with the Trinity.
22. For the Father judges no one, but he has given to all judge to the son. Perfect Active Indicative for completed act. God has given to the son.
23. In order everyone honors the son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the son does not honor the Father which has sent him.
Last Judgment
24. Truly, Truly I say to you that the one who hears my word and believes on him who sent me, he has eternal life and shall not come into the judgment but is taken out of death into life.
25. Truly, Truly, I say to you that an hour comes and now is, when the dead will hear he voice of the son of God and those hearing it will live.
26. For just as the Father has live in himself, and such the he give to the son life to have in himself.
27. And he gives power to him to make judgment because he is a son of man. Here is article is not present.
28. Do not marvel at these things, because the hour comes in      those in the tombs will hear his voice
29. And those that do the truth into a resurrection life, those that do evil into resurrection of judgment. Two resurrections one to life and one to judgment.
